Our BELIEFS
At Grace, we believe in the
error-free Word of God and know that
it provides answers and strength for living in our complicated world.
It also comforts us with the knowledge that Christ is the one way to
get to
heaven. God forgave the sins of the world because of what Christ as
done. Members
of Grace have been meeting in Yorba
Linda since 1975 to worship, serve, and learn more
about their Savior.
Grace is:
A Place for Worship
We gather together regularly to
praise God by proclaiming what he has done. One particular time we do this is
at our worship services. Every church has its own style of worship. Our
services focus on the Good News of our salvation which comes to us in God’s
Word and the Sacraments. We speak, sing, and listen to God’s Word in every
service. Our services use both traditional forms and modern language and
application. (Sundays at 9:30 AM)
A Place for Learning
To us, studying the
Bible is vital because it not only instructs us intellectually, but also guides
us spiritually. Learning its truths is a thrilling adventure in which we dig
deeper into the truths that he has made known to us. (Sundays at 8:30 AM –
Sunday School, Catechism Class, Youth Group, Adult Bible Study; Wednesdays at 7
PM – Bible Information Class; Men’s
and Women’s Bible Studies; see the Calendar)
A Place for Friendship
Nothing quite
compares to the joy of Christian friendship. That's why we make it a priority
to build lasting bonds between the members of our church family - bonds of
concern and genuine commitment to one another. Best of all, this circle of care
is ever-widening. We'd love for it to include you, too.
